Certified solutions for the food industry

Ahaus, june 8th, 2020

Hardly any other industry places such high demands on product quality as the food industry. Food processing companies are rightly subject to strict requirements, so hygiene and product safety play a major role. This also applies to machines and systems that are used for processing food and therefore come into direct contact with food.

We have been prepared for these special needs for many years and offer appropriately certified semi-finished and finished parts that can be safely used to manufacture containers, work surfaces, tools and components of machines and systems. End products manufactured with this, such as conveyor belt profiles, curve guides or scrapers, may be in direct contact with all types of food. We also produce cutting table supports, chopping blocks and carving plates that may come into contact with food, as well as ram protection strips for cold stores in a certified version.

We offer the right solutions for this demand with various materials that are certified in accordance with the EU Directive 10/2011. As part of the certification process, it is regularly demonstrated that the products are physiologically harmless, that they are manufactured within the framework of a distinctive quality system and that traceability standards are observed. Our EU 10/2011 materials, which include for example ISO-LEN® 500, ISO-LEN® 1000 and ISO-MOL® in various colours, meet all of these requirements. In addition, we also offer our semi-finished and finished parts in an FDA-compliant variant – i.e. in compliance with the requirements of the United States ‘Food and Drug Administration’ (FDA), which is responsible for the approval and market surveillance of food, medicines and medical devices and whose standards are widely used internationally.
